(BUG) Notes recorded too long?
2001-12-13 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com
Anyone else had a problem with their note durations occasionally getting set to the wrong value when you real time record? Sometimes I'll record a part in live record mode, then when I go to play it back, it plays through the pattern once fine, but when the pattern loops, the sound drops out for that track. I'll go into Note List Edit to look at it, and only one of the notes I played will have it's duration maxed out to the highest value, when I obviously didn't hold the note for anywhere near that long. If I set the duration back to where it should be it's fine though, weird. This has happened a few times to me... Another problem I get if I am playing and recording rhythm parts in real time with the record quantize set to 1/16th notes. Sometimes I like to go into Grid mode after I'm done to move a note around a bit, add some variety to what I played. Occasionally I'll see a note indicator in the display that I'm unable to get rid of. I can clearly see that I've got a note on the grid, however pressing the corresponding track mute button to turn it off doesn't do anything. The note stays there and continues to sound. The only way I can get rid of it, is to cursor to it's location and set the velocity to 0, or enter Note List Editor and erase it there. Anyone else seen this one? Were these possibly fixed in the new OS? Can we get list of the new bug fixes in OS 1.18 please? rEalm
