is this a bug? when I want to change the volume of the tracks I have
to select first the right chanel/track? in 1.01 (imo) I could change
the volume by `stepping` the controllers to the volume - section and
then each of the knobs change the right volume. I can control 16
volumes at the same time without stepping to the right track in the
LCD.

You should be able to do this in the new OS too, works fine for me. Unless
I'm not understanding what you're saying...

my problem is that when I turn the second knob (knob 2b) the volume
of chanel 1 changes and not the volume of chanel/track 2. I can´t
change the volume of all 16 tracks at the same time. first I have to
choose the right chanel/track in pattern edit.
thanks a lot

Do you have any midi mapping set up? That is weird! Make sure your tracks are set to the corresponding MIDI channels. Ie, track 1 is MIDI channel 1, track 2 is MIDI channel 2, etc...
