It should be ratained. It's a 72 byte (if I remember right) sysex
message on track 0.

Indeed.

And I've found each track has a bank select message to retain the Preset
used, along with a couple of Control Changes: CC79 (output assigned for
that part) and CC80 (arpegiator status).

Unfortunately - if I'm not mistaken - these CC are not updated if the
Preset has not been changed back and forth as well on a previously saved
and then edited part. Which means any change of output is lost.

I would have like a big SysEx string for all these settings, including
temporary edited patches as well. Much more easy to deal with than
having to save a patch on user location because it has been slightly
altered.

Oh well. 8)

A computer's attention span is as long as it's power cord.

That shouldn't be the case. Every time you save, it stores the current
settings (all the necessary program changes, cc#79 & 80, etc...)

Duh! My mistake.

It saves the settings all right even though the pattern is not
considered "dirty" when these parameters are edited, hence the
Save/Copy green led does not flash, hence me being confused.

Thank you very much Aaron. :)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
