I DJ'ed (just spun CDs) at the Ava Lounge in NYC last night and mixed in the XL7. X-MIX absolutely rocks for this. 90 percent of the time, no one assumed I was doing anything other than playing CDs! Lots of fun. Will be doing it every sunday.

  Hey Rob,

I have the same setup as you RS7000 & XL7. Love the RS, but love the sounds on the
EMU even more. Got some questions and thought you'd be the perfect person to ask.
Can you walk through the setup to make XL7 a sound module with my RS being the
master seq. Right now the only way I can select programs to XL7 via RS is on the
first bank (MSB000/LSB000 GM bank 001 to 128) of the RS. I can't access the other
sounds on the XL7, can only go up to kits, percs, and hits...Now when I switch the
Bank on the RS to access the rest of the sounds on XL7, I get this weird message on
  XL7 "C01A V127 P00 A:P ???? (not installed).

Do you know how to make my XL7 sing with the RS?

Thanks and look forward to your response!
