Would you believe the amazing E-Mu designers already included that 
functionality in your E-Mu?  Its true!

In a nutshell, to change a multi, send a bank switch + program change 
command where MSB = 80 and LSB = 0 for the bank switch and the 
program change number is the multi you want.  (You can do this via 
midi, too.  Its even in the manual!}

So all you need to do is put in a bank switch and program change in 
your pattern/sequence.  Works for both the on board sequencer and 
external sequencers.
