I'd recommend:
MicroKorg Out -> XL-7 In
XL-7 Out A    -> MicroKorg In
XL-7 Out B    -> MC09 In

That way you can have the XL-7 route the MIDI automatically between
it's internal synth, the MK synth and the MC09 synth.
