hi, some small MIDI-questions for u technical wizards out there ... I'm totally new in regard to MIDI-setup and I wonder if the following set-up is the best for my purpose. I want to use the XL-7 as a mastersequencer for the sounds of the MC09 and micrKORG i have. And I don't use a PC, ... a bit oldfashioned! I like to do it in real! I would set it up like this : MIDI-OUT and MIDI-IN of the micrKORG to the MIDI-IN and MIDI-OUT of the XL-7. Then from the MIDI-TROU of the microkorg to the MIDI-IN of the MC09 ... Would this setup allow to sequence sounds from the microkorg and MC09? Should i use a MIDI-patch-bay? Is there a better solution, without a PC? greetz, YUri Circular System 1 Rhythm (CS1R)
