Quick question. I was working on the XL-7 last night and everytime I went to edit the track I was working on, I noticed something. The parameters in the Edit Pattern menus don't always default to the current track you're working on. A fact I noticed only after losing some valuable sequencer data that I had overwritten, oops! So, what's the reasoning for how the XL/MP's assign which track is active wheny ou press Pattern Edit? Is it the last track you worked on? The last track active when you saved the pattern? I couldn't see a pattern (no pun intended) in how it was dloing this. I found it funny that you effectively be accidentally editing 3 different tracks depending on whether you were in Pattern mode, Preset Edit mode, or Pattern Edit mode! Isn't there someway to tie these all together so that whatever track is the current one in Pattern mode, is also the one that is active in Preset Edit, and Pattern Edit modes too? rEalm
