Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

32 megs of sound is A lot of sound, even if you aren't programming your own. The fact that the command stations have dropped a lot in price doesn't mean the roms are not good value a their full price. It's like getting a whole new synth, which to me is a steal at under $300. However, isn't there a 2 for one deal going on at Emu or something?

  shelling out over half of what it cost for the main unit just for 32MB
  of sounds. Also I cant find the proteus pop collection listed other
  then at emu.com . Any chance it was discontinued? Thanks to everyone
