Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Ok, posting this here because we have sooo many users on here that are incredibly knowledgable about all sorts of things.  

So here goes.

I just moved away from my hometown to go to school, and so I no longer own a mixer for the time being.  So I'm wondering, if running the main outs of the KC-500 keyboard amplifier into my powered studio monitors will blow the poor things up or not.

I tried it at an incredibly low volume, with the decibel knobs on the back of the monitors set at -20, and no problems.  But I'm scared to go louder and destroy my precious monitors.

Any help = much appreciated.
