Depends! The JV 2080 has some good sounds from Rolands JV/XP days. It
would be worth it if you can get your hands on a few of the expansions
cards. Otherwise, wait until you can get the XV 5050 or the 5080. The 5050
has updated XV sounds. the 5080 has many expansion slots + great sampling
features. However, if you don't need the latest patches, the 2080 would
work. My Xp-60 with 4 expansions: Hip-Hop, Studio Sessions, Keys of 60's &
70's, and Bass n Drums has served me very well!
