If you're in XMIX mode and use the Trigger select button to jump back to the current pattern's MUTE status to mute a track, you should be able to assign a new part to that Track, and NOT have the Mute status remain when you leave XMIX mode. Example, you want to swap the BD (bass drum) Track (we'll say it's Track 1 for this example) in Pattern 001 with the BD Track (Track 1 again) in Pattern 002. So you enter XMIX mode, and then decide you want to mute the current BD before you bring in the new one. So you press the Trigger Select button, and now the Triggers reflect the MUTE status of Pattern 001 again (still in XMIX mode though). You mute Track 1, press Trigger Select again to go back to XMIX mode, then at the right moment swap Pattern 001's Track 1 with Pattern 002's Track 1. All is well so far, the new BD begins playing and you're off and running. However, as soon as you press play to leave XMIX mode, Track 1 suddenly goes muted again. Obviously there's quite a few work arounds in the example above, but Iv'e kept it simple for explainations sake. If you start XMIXing a lot of parts, many times you want to mute and unmute other parts while doing this, in order to keep the set from being too static for too long. I don't how many times I've left XMIX mode and suddenly I'm missing parts that suddenly get muted. Just an idea if by any chance we ever see an OS2.01. Also, I still have problems (OS BUG) when selecting the Note symbol in Replace Record mode. Everytime I select it, the cursor jumps to the Quantize field and I mess up my quantize settings. rEalm [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
