No, the new OS gives you the option for selecting how many measures to cut or copy (as part of the Cut/Copy Track pages like you mentioned), so that's good news. The bad news, is that you can't select how many times to paste those measures, so you need to keep pasting over and over again. Playing around with this last night, it's really not that bad or slow to do this. It's only cumbersome when you've got data in those destination measures that you want to overwrite or erase. Because the Paste command is a merge function (the midi data is merged with whatever is already in those destinations), you need to make sure your destinations are empty. Because the easiest/quickest way to do this is to Cut Track To Clipboard, it doesn't do you any good to Copy your good measures to the Clipboard first, as they will get over written by the Cut Track Function. So yeah, it's possible, just takes a little more preplanning to make sure it all goes well and smoothly. Let me know if you need more speciafics. As for you guitar pedals yes you can use tehm as send effects too, although you need special insert cables to do it. The details and wiring diagrams are on page 28 of the original manual that came with your XL-7. Basically the tip is the send, the ring is the return, and the sleeve is common. Take a look at the diagram to see what I mean. rEalm after reading your archive messages....hmm... i don't see a "cut measure" or "copy measure" in the pattern edit menu but rather a "cut track" and "copy track". So there is no measure option and I guess I have to use the copy track along with the extend/length feature to isolate my particular measure of interest right? or what's the best way around this ? one other question: i was wondering is it possible to use my BOSS guitar fx pedals to send out fx to the Subs 1 &2 or is this only meant for XL7's onboard fx?
