I agree on the Roland units. I want to have less keys, I'm selling my XP60, but buying a XV5050. I just really like Roland sounds. I have a XL7, Karma and a Kurzweil 2661 when it comes out(it's already paid for). I had a Yamaha CS6X at one time, so I was interested in getting the Motif Rack. However, in the review that Sound on Sound did, they reported that the MIDI timing was rather sloppy. Yamaha said they were going to look into it, but I have not heard anything else about it since I've read the article. Just keep that in mind.
