Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

well, i do have midi connected to the interface.  can you tell me if 
your machine gets further than 'Searching for OS...'  if it does go 
further, then i know my unit has a problem.  it's just that i need to 
know another users angle.  thanks
