Reuben, Yes, the beats are useful for laying down pre-synced drums, percussion and hits. The difference between beats and kits is that a bts: preset has 16 tracks assigned to one preset(*click link below) and kits can be used with your sequencer or **-7 using the drum pads to do things in real time, step or grid. You can also use the 16 trigger buttons to latch a bts preset sample on or off depending on how you have the unit set-up. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/XL-1/files/beatkey.jpg Later,(good night) M2 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/orbit3 --- In xl7@y..., "Reuben clarke" <w-pclark@s...> wrote: > what I was trying ask was if the bts were similar to kits, ( how are they > different?) and if anyone thinks the mo phat presets are useful. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "M2" <mmcquay@m...> > To: <xl7@y...> > Sent: Friday, November 30, 2001 3:16 PM > Subject: [xl7] Re: HELP -- how do I load in the presets? > > > > Reuben, > > > > What sequencer and midi interface card do you own?
