Scott can probably help better than I, but make sure you're not sending other
midi at the same time.  You're probably not doing this anyway, and it
technically should work, but it can't hurt to check.

Yep.  Boot into diagnostics (someone else will tell you how) and select Init All
User Data.
Be careful.  It erases *ALL* patterns, and resets *ALL* user presets back to
their original state.
