A dedicated mute function would be very nice. It would need to work in
record mode even for the selected track. And as some else pointed out
allow for groups. 
 
- "de-mix by MIDI note" function. i.e. to turn the drum sequence you 
recorded on a single track/channel to a multi-track one (one sound/one
track).
 
2.0 has an explode tracks feature. Take a look at page 14 of the 2.0 PDF
manual
