Thanks everyone for your advice.  This is such an excellent user 
group IMO.  I think I'll try out the Pop and TSCY in the shop.  If 
they haven't got the Pop set up then I'll listen to the Proteus 2500 
to get an idea of the sounds.

I'm so pleased with the XL7.  It's immediately rewarding and a very 
responsive synth and sequencer - a refreshing change to using Sonar 
and soft synths.  Combined I think hardware and software are 
unbeatable now whereas before I got the XL7 I swore by software 
alone.  

I'm also impressed by this user group.  It's the greatest addition to 
the XL7 and I've already got such a lot of help and advice from 
reading the posts.  I can't tell you what a relief it is finding that 
I don't have to rely on tech support alone.  I didn't realise there 
was this type of support for hardware as well as software.  Gushing 
praise mode over. :)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
