I am the engineer for a small upstart studio in my church. The main producer is using an MPC as his sequencer and drum machine. I do some production but not much. After playing with an mp-7 in the store I loved the sounds. I will be ordering one as soon as they are back in stock at either EMU or American Music. (if anybody knows where I can get one BRAND NEW before June let me know). My question is what ROM would be good for adding that melodic component to my music. This will be my first piece of equipment for making tracks and I am choosing the MP-7 because of the expandability and I think it will be an excellent complement to the MPC in our studio. >>> glennjamison@... 05/21/03 02:00PM >>> I wouldn't get the Protozoa rom myself. The Proteus Pop is way better, but it's also more expensive. Also, the Protozoa is only 16mb where as the Pop is 32 mb. The Protozoa is all from synths that are now 10 years old, so it is quite dated. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "rayisfab" <rayisfab@h...> wrote: > I've ordered the Beat Garden rom for the XL7.
