Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

pure phatt rom is the mo phatt rom.  they are the same.  getting a xl7 and putting the mo 
phatt rom in it is the same thing i am going to do.   someone gripped up my deal from 
AMS before i could get the cash together for it.  so, i am going to fing someone else to 
give me a deal on it.   the mp7 is more expensive just because it is "in demand".  its for 
hip hop.  so every little hip hop head wants one, and the price stays up.  they are same 
box, and they sell the roms seperatly.  i really love Emu for selling these the way they did.  
they totaly kept your options open foryou, and dont restrict you to just one sound set.  
they also leave you 4 slots for different roms.  so when you are done with xl7 sounds, and 
the pure phatt sounds, you can still expand.  the combination of the xl7 sound set, and 
the pure phatt sound set, are exactly what i am looking for the music i have had in mind 
lately...FYI  50 cent track(forget the name, but "come on shorty its your birfday")  the clap 
sounds like it is right off the MP7.  i only played on one once and picked it out of the 
crowd.  i could be wrong though.  anyone else hear the similarity? or know the clap 
sound i am talking about?
