Re: [xl7] Anyone had this happen?

You're just trying to use the sub outs with an external effects
processor/sound module right? And your return signal is always mono?

The only other thing I would do, is make sure your TRS cords are set up to
transmit stereo the same way teh XL-7 is. It should be fairly standard I
would think, but some manufaturers might make the differences in which
part of the plug carries left and right channel information. Actually
looking at page 19 in the manual, it looks like you don't need TRS cord,
but just regular patch cords. The Tip is the send, and the Ring is the
return. My guess is that your external gear isn't set up this way :) You
might need to make special cords to interface with your other gear because
of this, since most gear uses the Ring as ground. Kind of surprising that
this isn't mention in the manual actually. Maybe one of those special
Insert Y-cables made by Hosa and the like for Mixer Insert channels would
do the trick? Let me know if you need help tracking one down...

I tried switching the main outputs to mono pach cords and still the
same thing.

Just don't get it.
