Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

i could spend time looking in my manual and trying to figure this 
out, but why, when i have this wonderful group of helpers.

i'm wanting to re-load all of the pre-set patterns onto my xl7 and 
i'm wanting to upgrade the OS from 1.0 all the way up to 2.0.  any 
advice, tips, how-to would be wonderful.
