Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Yeah same here, got the clicking and popping this weekend too.  I thought 
it was my sound card at first, surprised the XL can't handle it's own 
output.

I've noticed the XL7 clicking and popping even when I run certain phrases 
from certain sounds through a preamp that can handle some serious gain. 
I'm hazarding a guess that the mains preamp on the XL7 can't handle the 
sound.
