I agree on the power issue. I've encountered that before in many 
instances. It usually results from too many things pluged into the 
same circuit. Usually the synth has enough power to boot part way and 
that's about it. Usually when I play out I bring extension cords and 
power strips. That way I can find my own recepticles if needed.
