Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I am having timing issues while trying to sync with protools.  I have 
my tempo the same as the XX-7, which I am using as a slave but there 
is always a huge lag.  I have enabled/disabled the 2bar countoff but 
still no luck.  I have also tried slaving protools to my XX-7 and 
used the midi online feature to properly sync, yet again still no 
luck.

Reading through previous messages I was unable to find a resolution.  
Therefore any assistance is greatly appreciated.
