I would check internal connections. Particularly any chip that sits in a socket. WARNING, if your not comf0ortable opening the box or really don't know what your doing, ask someone who is. Oen the unit. Touch the powersupply to release any static electricy you may be charged with. Press firmly any chip that sits into a socket. You'll most likely hear minute sounds ad the chips snug up with the sockets. If you move equippment around frequently, the connections can become a little loose. Vibrations from banging on the buttons and expansion from heat as the unit warms up can compound these problems and reveal intermittent problems. I used to work with lots of touring bands and this was a problem from the gear ridding in trucks around the country and around the world. I even had problems with some of my gear from the move from LA to Seattle. More than 50% of the problems I've seen with all gear can be fixed this way.
