Thanks for the reply.

Yes it is a hot box but that is not what I am talking about here.
I am listening through hedphones straight off my mixer and I am using 
a Mackie so it seems to handle the heat just fine.

What is happening is the sound that comes off the E5000 (that is 
running in as a return)are all in mono.  And the fx are different 
from the XL as well.

I totaly don't get it.  I am not talking about a subtle sonic 
difference I am saying it is like i am running off a FX send or 
sompthing
