Re: [xl7] mp7 to sonar

2003-04-23 by erik_magrini@Baxter.com

I'd set up it like this:

- make Sonar to transmit MIDI clock to the MP-7.
- Set the MP-7 to ignore external song start, and set it's tempo to 0
(ext). Turn rechannelize input off.
- now you can use the MIDI Enable screen in the MP-7 (midi menu) to turn
off all of the channels except one. Using this screen, you can
effectively solo your tracks so that you can record them to Sonar one at a
time. After you finished one track, just enable the next one and disable
the one you just did. works great, but it can take awhile.

BTW, I don't have Sonar, so don't ask me how to use it, sorry!

I'm trying to get a song I did on my mp7 into sonar, track by track -
please help if you can - thanks
