No, it's stereo, so what you hear out of the main outs is exactly what you 
would hear from the digital outs (minus a D/A stage in the XX-7).

The manual says digital out duplicates the main outs - 
something like that , somewhere....
So does that mean that the spdif right channel  is the mono 
output , as with the analog main outs ?
