Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I've noticed the XL7 clicking and popping even when I
run certain phrases from certain sounds through a
preamp that can handle some serious gain. I'm
hazarding a guess that the mains preamp on the XL7
can't handle the sound. Turning down the main volume
does take care of this. Better too hot a sound than
have the life compressed out of it.
