Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

hey realm:

what software would u recommend for a new ibook running osX?   i'm aware the 
xl-7 wont work over usb, so i'd have to do midi.  and a recommendation on a 
midi converter into the ibook?   thanks..i'm just getting going on a new mac 
setup and wanna get this new os2.0 w/x-mix rolling on my box!!!!
