thanks M2 for sending me that list. Ya that is kinda nutts, I just can't wait to have it in the box! I do give props to E-MU at this point. The support has been amasing in the last two and a half months, this being the time that I have been coming to this message board. As well as on the phone. In the last couple of weeks I have been taking my time to just enjoy the XL and not clutter my mind with the things that I feel are missing. What has come of it is many hours of great music making. I have created some music that makes me feel proud to be the producer of. Not having to worry about the dam PC crashing and not having to deal with the mouse except when using Eloader. I wen't to a friends studio a couple of weeks ago and he is using a MAC G4 running what he not so fondly refers to Stienberg crashbase and man it was a drag. It made me totaly apreciate what I had at home. Well after saying that I will have to contradict myself at least a bit and say that one thing that I would be willing to pay some cash for would be a program that would be a very simple midi editor for the XL/MP's. Like sompthing that would mearly alow me to look at all the controller information on one screen. Sompthing that looked sompthing like the editor window in Logic, I can't rember what it is called right now. The one where all the controller amounts are represented by simple bar graph. I could probibly just use Logic for this but having sompthing that is set up to deal directly with the USB conection would be amasing. Picture wrighting your track and when you are done you could open this program and hit play on the XL/MP, make some edits to smooth out some of your CC values. Having all your pan volume and program & quick edits scrolling by. I know that this probibly won't ever happen but man it would be a great thing to have. At least I would just love to have it. The only thing that Makes me crave this so much that I find it difficult to switch from pattern to pattern wile keeping the values the same from the end of one pattern to the begining of the next pattern. It is not hard if you get it the way you wan't it one track at a time if you go from bigining of the patterns throught to the end, but if you have to go back and change sompting in one of the patterns, getting things to where they start in the next pattern is a pain if not imposable. I hope that made sence I am kinda burnt out. But back to my point I love my XL-7 and would not trade it for anything that is out there. Huge props to the E-MU team. Thank you. Peace Mike
