Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I am considering purchasing the XL-7 to control the following gear in 
a live setting:

Ensoniq ASRX Pro Sampler
Yamaha AN1x Synth
Korg MS2000 Synth
Yamaha DX100 Synth
Roland Juno 106

I want to import Midi files into the XL-7, assign the proper midi 
channels to control 8 channels on the sampler, and one channel to 
each of the synths.  I want a seamless flow between tracks for dance 
sets up to 2 hours in length.  I wont be doing much tweaking on the 
XL-7, just controlling the patterns and maybe adding some percussion. 

Is the XL-7 what I am looking for?
