Thanks for the quick response Andre, You must have sensed the desperation in my voice. Okay, so all the things you mentioned I tried. Still got the same message. So just as a last resort I checked all the MIDI settings on the XL-7 and the only thing I could think of was the MIDI clock signal could be viewed as a multiple signal. But that wouldn't be running during the OS upload protocol right? Well I turned off the MIDI clock, BOOM, the OS 010.dsi file loaded no problem, followed immediately thereafter by the new OS 2.0. Yahoo! So I was pretty happy to solve this little issue. But I still don't understand why the clock signal was screwing up the E-loader. Anyone else have this problem? BTW, my XL-7 had the original OS on it. So I'll be up late into the night with my OS2.0 addendum trying out all the wild improvements.
