Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hey all...

Then, there was OS 2.0.... and it was good :)

Updated my XL as soon as I got home, and I've been playing with it 
for about 3 hours now... SO far so good.  The new features help make 
it a much more "playable" instrument - they're very useful, as far as 
I've seen.  Many thanks to the EMU team :)

I noticed the addendum mentioned a "Pattern to Song" bug that had 
been fixed...  COuld this be the reason that I lost the same song 
TWICE this weekend?  I would be playing along, putting something 
together, then I'd save it... only to find that it was now 1 bar 
long, then a STOP.  I was probably switching from Song mode to 
Pattern at some point.. I don't remember too clearly now. It wasn't a 
big deal, I was just learning my way around... but I hope that was 
it :)

Oh, and XMIX kicks *ass*...  I kind of thought it was a gimmicky 
feature... but having fooled around with it a bit I've already got 
some good ideas on how I can put it to use.
