Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hey folks, I'm thinking strongly about getting an XL-7, and need to 
know some things.  Is it possible to train 15-20 sequences together, 
convert that into one master sequence, and start to overdub song-
length performances, i.e. bass and piano tracks that are not loop-
based?

I had an MPC2000XL, and the sequencer-especially song mode was 
seamless, but the sound manipulation required alot of external gear.
