I know what you're talking about, called "relative" on some synths. Definitely a useful feature, unless you're already close to the end of the kobs range. rEalm I'd like to see the 'More' mode. Where turning the know just adds or subtracts from the signal, scaled to the rest of the knobs throw. Probably less useful with non 'endless' knobs on our box...
