Cheers to that. Sometimes I wish a company like EMU had the ability to do more MORE of what they do so wonderully. For example, Roland released something like 20 or so products this year... the 909, the Fantom/S, the VSynth (have you seen this thing??), other digital pianos, not to mention recording gear, Monitors, Controllers, USB audio shit, ... the list goes on. EMU? Are you focusing on one product this year (xx-?)? Do you have something planned up your sleeve? EMU's synthesis ability (as far as programming) is very technical. And EMU does a great job and perfecting their products -- (Patchchords are an AMAZING ability) - only if every company went this way about things. . . While things like the VSYNTH are cool, Gimmicks like "dBeams" and these "Kaos Pad" type things are only going to go to a certain point in a production world. and while the INTERFACE is awesome in things like the FANTOM and the 909, the ABILITY is always going to be the beg selling point on the EMU products... Another big seller for me is the obvious "bang for the buck" thing. What's next EMU? Akai, Roland, Korg, and other companies are big competitors... For every store that carries EMU, there is probably 4 or 5 that carry one of these products... Is it just marketing? Looks? Function? I'm no expert, but I bet the next thing that EMU releases is going to be a BLOCK ROCKIN piece of equipment... What's going on in those labs? Hmmmmm.... Need help?
