Can someone confirm that the Command Stations will respond to endless rotaries like on the doepfer. Not all synths will do it . . . You are right though, one of thos doepfers glued to the xl7 would be the bomb.

Oh my god!!! This box needs that so bad that looking at the text on
the screen will never get how strongly i feel about this out to
EMU. Almost evry time I use the xl7 (this is almost evry day) i
think of picking up a Doepfer "pocket dial" just for the reason that
this problem would be over for ever, once and for all. It is 16
rotary potentiometers in a little box. They just keep turning and
turning the point being that they pick up from where you where. No
  sudden jumps ever.

If emu could impliment this "snap" mode I would be totaly ecstatic.

EMU if there is one more thing you do with this box please make it
that. This limitation of the xl has kept at least one other person
i have talked with from buying the unit.

  Take care

  Mike G.
