Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

hi,

i kind of have a newcomer question as well.
i was just wondering if there was somewhere i might be able to find a 
tips and tricks FAQ for sound editing.
i found one in this group before about creating a slicer or something 
using a pulse wave routed to the ampvol, but now i can't seem to find 
it. also i was wondering about maybe like what types of filters go 
good with what etc.
