Lately, this talk of drums and ambient patches and other stuff has made me wonder if people would be interested in pooling their programming and organizing skills? Patch group How much interest would there be in starting a user bank collective? A number of people have said that they aren't being completely fulfilled by the current patch set. For myself, I definitely see the need for more: - ambient sounds - it's more than just slow attack pads... - more interesting/exotic/usable drum sets. - the machine is desperately in need of simpler sounds - everything in the ROMs is overly multi-layered. - patch conversion from the planet phatt and audity boxes. Patch Names Furthermore, there is the matter of patch names for the various ROMs and DAWs. How would you like to fill out and organize 1 bank of ROM names for Cubase/Logic/Sonar, and get all the other banks in your machine in return? I am sure that there is other stuff that you all want that we could make together. If you are interested in contributing, please respond off list to biz @ groovetronica.com with: - your programing and sound design experience - particular interest in sounds - ROMs you own - any programming you already have, that you wish to share - amount of time you can devote to such a project - and any other items to add to a 'user' wishlist. As I said before, there probably some room for all experience levels in a project like this. ..bIz... (º·.¸(¨*·.¸.¸¸...¸¸.¸.·*¨)¸.·º) «.· ° ·.groovetronica.com.· ° ·.» (¸.·º(¸.·¨'"'¨¨"¨¨'"'¨·.¸)º·.¸)
