Yeah, you're going to have to get a midi interface in order to get that to
work. Midiman has some really cheap USB ones (Midisport 1x1) for around
$50, or you could look into getting a midi adaptor for your joystick port
on the PC too, which might be a little bit cheaper.

Subject: [xl7] IIt's Me Again With Another Question!
Okay, I'm ready to download the E-Loader and the 0S version 1.32, but
I don't have the cables to hook my MP-7 to my computer. I know that I
need the Bi-directional MIDI cables and the USB cable but I don't
fully understand how to hook all of that up! I understand where to
hook the cables up on the MP-7 but on the diagram, it doesn't fully
show how to hook it up to the computer. It has a symbol for a MIDI
interface but I don't have a MIDI interface. All I have is my MP-
7,studio monitors, and a cd-burner. All I realy need to know is how
to hook the MIDI cables from my MP-7, to my PC. I'm pretty sure about
where to hook the USB cable up on the back of the computer.
Please Help!?!?!?!?
