Re: AdV!Ce 0N Wh@T To GeT????

This could be scripted, along with the conversion of the planet phatt
module presets. I'm sure that there is someone on this list with the
perl skills to do a mass conversion - all that we would need would be
the sysex documents for both modules. Has anyone seen these?

On a very slightly related note - is there a cc number for voice
soloing the presets? I've found that the majority of the presets are
too rich for my purposes, but sound really great if I turn off one or
two voices.

If this can't be done via cc numbers, a quick search and replace of
the patch sysexs would instantly make these accessible.

Is emu planning on releasing a librarian for the P2k engine? A simple
conversion of the p2k module for sound diver would be a godsend.

(Though the death of emagic pc platform might mean no new modules for
us pc'ers :/)

Even thought he Audity 2000 is a subset of the XL-1, the standard
presets
for each do have very distinctive personalities. The Audity 2000 does
have a
much edgier selection of presets. The group of preset programmers we
used
for each project were different as well as given different design
goals.
Technically you can put all of the Audity 2000 presets in to an XL-1
or
XL-7. There would be a about 2 minutes of re work required for each
preset
ported over via sysex and you would need an A2K to grab the presets
from.
