This is in fact interesting. I myself have just decided to buy the 
Audity 2000. I do a dark sort of trance and techno myself and have 
found the soundset and arpeggios on the Xl7 to lean more to the "pop" 
side. To my tastes, they just aren't heavy or have that "fuzzy" feel 
i'm after. I love the sequencer and effects and the fact that you can 
run an entire studio from it though.  Grrr... so I'd buy back my XP30 
in a heatbeat and want to buy maybe a triton or motif next after the 
audity.
