Well I am cc'ing this question to the XL7 group there are some pretty cool peeps on that list. You basically take the soundyou want set the resonance to like 45% ish then you apply a patchcord to the cuttoff, since you want acid lines you will get better results if you choose a saw based sound and play with different filters until you find one with a steep enough curve for good self resonance. The key to getting sounds like that is actually to apply some distortion (Actually overdrive is better) to the signal after the filters and before the effects. You might want to look at getting a guitar pedal that does that later on, specifically a rectifier or bit reduction, then using an insert cable on the output 2 section. Someone else might have a better formula for this on the xl7 list. If you respond to this guys make sure you do a reply all for honkeyhindu... I don't think he's on the xl7 list.
