I'm having trouble with the USB drivers and Windows XP. I have tried all the suggestion in the read me files and the device is not being recognized. >>>Have you tried going to the Windows Hardware manager and installing the drivers manually? <<< Also what do you recommend starting out with for a midi card? >>>I like the M-Audio MIDIsport series, though those are USB devices and not cards (getting harder to find PCI midi devices). Never had any issues with my 4x4 or my girl's 2x2. <<< Is it better to use the Midi card and what is up with the USB functionality? >>>Depends, the midi is slower than USB, but it will still do the same thing. The USB only adds speed to the picture while using E-Loader. Oh, and you still HAVE to use MIDI to update the OS, USB doesn't work yet for that. <<< Will it get better with the new O.S.? >>>Probably not, the functionality is already part of the XX-7's, it's a new version or E-Loader that's needed to add more features. I for one would LOVE to be able to use E-Loader to back up patches and Multi's too. I know the Mac guys have been waiting patiently forever for USb drivers that work too. How about it Emu, is there a new version of E-Loader coming too? <<< rEalm [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
