Yeah, I thought the Transmit Program Change feature in the MIDI menu would do this, but it also keeps your internal patterns from receiving PC's. So your patterns will all playback with whatever Presets are assigned to channel 1-32 in Pattern 000, Bank 0 (what the XL/MP powers on with as default). So that makes me curious, what would be a use for the current PC Disable feature? I can't see why you would need that. Initial I thought it might be useful with an external sequencer, but only if you want to use the sounds that the Command Station powers up with. Anyone use this?

Will I have to buy a MIDI filter just because I don't want the XL-7
to transmit "program changes" to my external gear?

I mean, the XL-7 sends a whole lot of stuff to my external gear, and
there **MUST BE** a feature to block messages like volume (7), pan
(10) not to mention program change etc. etc.
