Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi,

trying a bit to explain why I can´t get further with the XX-7 at the moment.

In the last month I made some nice patterns and finished with some nice
sound and rythms without arranging 
them as a song. 
Now I have two options to follow, first I could make longer and shorter
patterns to switch, that would be a lot 
of work as I want to change tracks playing, change volumes and record some
cc., besides it`s hard for me, 
cause I like playing with sounds freely without saying after that I``ll cut
that track at 1.04 and that at 
7.03.73. 
Second option would be using song mode, but that way of programming is quiet
difficult because getting now 
again repeating pattern structures that are difficult to program if they
repeat again.
It would be nice to get the songs you arranged back as a pattern, the only
way to do it is to record them with 
a software sequencer.
I think it`s still the best way is still to switch patterns manual as I
don`t want to sequence it with software, 
cause in a live situation that would be 2 computers and I think it`s all
getting too system crash possible, 
what? (my english...)

I read some month ago that you would get the patterns via e-loader down to
your computer to edit them 
there easier, or what do you do with them?
I think it`s a good way to edit volumes on an own multitrack as it`s easier
to get back to a constant volume, 
Well, I don``t now my way yet, but I know I didn`t find the right way yet,
but perhaps I`m just a bit lazy,
