Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I don't have an xx-7, but from what I've read you can achieve 
similar results from setting up the track select buttons as 
triggers.  They can be setup as momentary or toggle switches, 
allowing you to hit the button and let the note that is assigned to 
that button play until you hit it again.
